So I have yet again been productive.

First and most importantly, there have been subtle references to somebody I like...well it is out in the open now between us and that is good. Now we get to see if anything is actually going to work out in any way/shape/form/etc.

Second, this is for Amanda:

cleanmystork...rearrange the letters...it becomes corky's lament...which is what Dokko suggested that I should call the new drumline warmup. Nothing dirty, or particularly interesting...just good old clean anagrams.

Interestingly though, Brian Dokko's name thrown through an anagram machine brings up "A kind brook"...rather fitting.

I opened the Mark and Brian Christmas show, then jetted to poly to watch their concert. I am pretty sure that was the better decision than to stay. I heard it was rather boring.

Derrick Tucker showed up...he was the bass player for Pipe Dream...an old band that I was in. Very nice to see him. Some things never change I guess.

Wish me luck on item number one working out for the better.

Did a christmas parade...

As I mentioned in my last post, there were plenty of things coming. Today I took care of all of them as well as a bit more. Now, let's just say that I am totally looking forward to tomorrow.

Well, it appears that I have a lot to look forward to.

First, as of 10am tomorrow, the quarter will officially be over for me. Second, my best friend's boyfriend is having a birthday tomorrow. We bought him a $120 bottle of Scotch...The Macallan 18 year. I should have my sister try it since it is at least as old as her. It should be a lot of fun to try that. I most likely will just stay there for the night in leu of risking the drive home from Hawaiian Gardens while intoxicated. Third, Poly's football team will play their 8th CIF finals game in 9 years on Friday. All of the buzz this year was that Lakewood was going to be the best and bla bla bla. Poly was given complete dismissal...and here we are in finals against Los Al. I have the feeling that a win is definitely possible with the way Los Al played last Friday against Lakewood. Fourth, the Daisy Ave. Christms Parade will happen Saturday. Then I get to relax for the rest of the winter break.

As for what I am going to do over winter break...I need a plan. Advice for plans?

Yeah, so I had dinner with a friend of mine from high school. Apparently because I am smart, I have to do smart stuff. I can't become a high school math teacher, or bus driver, or something of that sort even if it makes me happy. It appeared to really annoy her, and I don't know if she is going to call me again or what.

I talked to someone else too. I wish I could say more, but I will not. All I will say though is that I do enjoy talking to this person more and more. I wish I could get up the guts to actually ask her to dinner or something, but we all know me...or at least what I am now. Maybe something will happen soon to push me into the situation to actually do something about it.

I remembered to do the word of the day.

I took my final...yay.

Now I guess it is time to do other things...like clean the room.

So yesterday, I got to be the rockstar...of the Belmont Shore Chirstmas parade. Apparently the crowd likes bleeding eardrums and that nice ring that lingers, and so I will gladly participate in granting them the privilage of such pain.

Huell Howser..the guy from California's Gold, was doing a special on us. I was interviewed as the youngest person in the section. Think of how Huell would ask the questions...and that was exactly it.

I got to hear my Wilson drummers do the parade. They sounded alright for what they have had to deal with this year. Hooray for them. I also got to walk by the ex-drummers of Wilson. Those kids don't have a clue, and to try to explain it would be futile. It's really too bad.

I am getting in touch with plenty of people who were very important to me at one time or another that I lost track of for a veritable plethora of reasons. I am quite happy with the results.

Church has been going ok.

I just wanted to write that sentence.

Finals kick off at 8am tomorrow.

I am going to start using lots of big words in order to flirt better. I will be starting off my posts with the word as well as its definition.

First word will be buried: scintillating-to emit sparks...Hmmm, could I be talking about somebody's eyes? Or perhaps a personal interest? Or am I just refering to what happens when I stick a piece of steel in my workbench grinder?
